The Peppercorn Cafe is a real gem, the staff are pleasant and Ruth is always so accommodating and friendly, its lovely to see her having banter with the customers. The food is always good quality and really tasty home made dishes and the carvery is the best in the area, I won't go any where else now. A real asset to the accommodation home that adjoins it as many residents seem to use the cafe.

Ruth and her team are excellent, I was looked after from the moment I arrived (must admit I was taking a short cut back to my vehicle) the management were very friendly and helpful even though I was just wandering through.
However I returned later and enyoyed a marvellous carvery and a cup of tea.
A tip for future customers, if Ruth says would you like this on your plate.. Say yes.. You won't regret it.

Whilst visiting a resident we were very impressed with the cafe. It has opened under new management and have a varied menu with carveries twice a week including a delicious and generously portioned Sunday lunch. Currently they are offering 2 for £20 on Sunday lunches. You may need to call to reserve a table as it is very popular for good reason.
It's wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible, the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. Well spaced out tables, a good variety of food on the menu including full English breakfasts, burgers, coffee and home made cake,it's a a real hidden gem in Louth.

After a few tries the food here has been nothing but fantastic! Every time we've visited the staff are friendly, very helpful & happy to help. Very reasonable prices & a great selection of dishes & deserts. Book to avoid disappointment as they're often busy for Sunday lunch.

Just had an amazing Sunday carvery here, choice of 4 meats, 3 different types of potatoes, cauliflower cheese, 4 other veg, Yorkshire pud and stuffing, with horseradish, cranberry or apple sauce condiments of your own choice. Will certainly be going back again soon!
